Strengthening Exercise 1: Puckering your lips tightly, move your lips up toward your nose and hold for about 15 to 20 seconds. Sometimes closing your eyes will help relax the rest of your face so you can focus on the jaw line.
Strengthening Exercise 2: With a slightly open mouth and teeth closed-but not clenched, pulls the corners of your mouth back toward your ears firmly. Squeeze and tighten your neck muscles. Hold the position for 20 seconds. Stretching Exercise 3: Slowly tilt your head back and lift your chin to the ceiling stretching the entire jaw area. Hold the stretch for about 7 to 10 seconds. Gently and slowly tip your chin toward your right shoulder. Hold for about 20 seconds. Repeat on the left side. Tip your chin forward toward your chest for about 7 seconds. Stretching Exercise 4: Open your mouth wide like you are about to shout and hold for just 5 seconds. |
